…. what an embarrassment of riches on this date. The only reason I didn't pick Verdi is because his main gig was composing, not playing. But still a musician, so I pick him third.

Never was too interested in John Prine.

David Lee Roth is the "performer" par excellence in this group -- but can't take the musician honors from the likes of Verdi, Monk, Kissin, even Prine.
